As a child of God, you have certain rights and privileges. Where previously you were under the curse that came on humanity because of Adam, accepting Jesus as your Lord and savior redeemed you from the effects of that curse. The Lord Jesus has set you free. Your position has changed because now you are part of His family. That entitles you to have what He has.

Like a child in an impoverished orphanage, they own nothing and are basically at the mercy of the caretakers. The longer the child is there, the bleaker the outlook. But then along comes someone who takes notice of that child and adopts him. Now, because the family adopted him, he is entitled to the same privileges as the natural-born children in that family. The children are no different because they all refer to the parents as mom and dad.

So, when the caretaker of that awful orphanage that God adopted you out of comes to deliver you a package of sickness or poverty, just stamp it with 'return to sender' and refuse to accept it.

Health and wealth belong to you (Psalm 103:1-5).

Bless the Lord, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless His holy name!
2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits:
3 Who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases, 4 Who redeems your life from destruction, who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, 5 Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle's.

By the wounds Jesus suffered when He went to the cross, you are already in perfect health (1 Peter 2:24).

24 who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.

The Blessing of the Lord makes us wealthy and full of happiness (Proverbs 10:22).

22 The blessing of the Lord makes one rich, and He adds no sorrow with it.

Rejoice, for you are greatly loved!

Amen! This message is a powerful reminder of who we are in Christ. We are no longer defined by our past, our circumstances, or the curses of the old life. Through Jesus, we have been welcomed into God’s family and given a new identity. We can stand firmly on His promises and trust His Word. Psalm 103 reminds us not to forget all His benefits. God is faithful to care for His children and lead us according to His purpose. Whatever does not align with His will, we can surrender to Him and refuse to live in fear. Rejoicing in His love and grace today!

Praise God for the freedom we have through Jesus Christ! Our position has changed because we belong to the family of God. We don't have to remain prisoners of our past or allow fear to dictate our future.

Amen! Faith means choosing to trust God even when what we see does not yet match what His Word says. We can remind ourselves daily that we belong to God and that His love for us is unchanging. The finished work of Christ gives us a foundation for hope, courage, and confidence. Let us not allow difficult circumstances to steal our joy or weaken our trust in Him. May God's promises become louder in our hearts than the voices of fear. We are His, and that is something worth celebrating!
